Our partners (Bradford Community Environment Project (BCEP), Bradford Environmental Action Trust (BEAT) and other voluntary organisations) regularly need teams of volunteers from business to work on environmental and community projects such as tree planting, creating play areas and gardens and community clean ups. Team challenges offer an excellent alternative to traditional team building activities whilst delivering real benefits to communities in the District. Small teams of people from business can make a substantial impact, working alongside local volunteers and residents. By sending your staff on a team challenge with one of our partners you will:
- Develop team working and leadership skills
- Experience interesting and enjoyable team building
- Make a real difference to local environments
- Help to create better links between your business and the community in which you operate
Typically a business will offer a team of between 5 and 20 staff over one or two days. A nominated team leader will work with the community organisation to plan the day and identify resource needs. Many businesses choose to do these challenges collaboratively using the resources of different companies to meet the needs of the programme. The Be Involved team will be there to help and advise you throughout the process. |
