Horton and Wibsey Bereavement Care Association seek support to maintain the sustainability of this succesful organisation.

The group are seeking help and support for the following posts :

• Treasurer - to help support work with budgets, quarterly financial reviews for the Management Committee and preparation of year end accounts.
• Secretary - to provide support for quarterly management committee meetings and liaise with Bradford Council for PQASSO reviews. 

The group are a small registered charity who have been working in the Bradford area for fifteen years. The aim is to provide emotional support for the bereaved, either in a group, home visits or by telephone. The objective is to ensure that those who are isolated through bereavement are able to re-engage with their community through :

•  provision of a 24 hour telephone answering service
• a counselling service which includes one to one home visits, a weekly support/self help group where one to one support is also available
• an out of hours telephone response service
• a training programme for new and exisitng volunteers with regular support and supervision
