We presently run an activity around music and radio production. Wish now to expand and develop this work as a social enterprise and require individuals and organisations who can offer expertise in marketing and business development
One of the projects Assisi runs as it's activities centre, is a music and radio production project called "Travelling Light" to promote creativity and learning amongst people who have been homeless and offers a range of activities including workshops, studio sessions, web design and live performance opportunities.
Since 2003 the project has been funded by charitable grants and we want to expand and develop the work by running a social enterprise.
We want to identify individuals and organisations who can offer expertise in marketing and business development eg :
Assisi House has been working with homeless men and women since 1994 - providing accomodation, support and a range of day time activities.
Since August 2007 the organisation has a men's hostel, some move on flats, a resettlement project and an activities centre offering a wide range of learnig in IT and music.
Assisi aims to support those who have been homeless to find long term housing which is suitable to their needs, along with a quality of life outside the home. We support them to access training and / or volunteering, seek opportunities for individual creativity and persue suitable employment.
