Bog Garden and Willow Fence @ Parklands Primary School
A day of action at a local primary school in Bradford saw 10 volunteers from Yorkshire Building Society make a fantastic bog garden in the school grounds. The volunteers spent most of the morning digging out the area where the bog garden was to be constructed – very hard work! They then had to line the bog garden with pond liner where the team helped to cut it to shape and dig it into the turf on the side of the embankment to keep it secure. The area was then fenced off and panelled with bamboo. Great Challenge YBS!
