Day of Action @ Bradford Central PRU
A group of Volunteers from ASDA today took part in a team challenge at Bradford Central PRU (Pupil Referral Unit.) The day saw 50 volunteers work together to make some fantastic changes to the centre in Thackley. There was a diverse range of activities taking place throughout the day including a man made nature trail which looked fantastic when it was completed, raised beds, an amazing sensory garden, a wildflower meadow and an orchard. The volunteers also made a story telling area with seats made out of tree stumps. The volunteers from Asda also added decorative borders to grassy areas and cleared and tidied overgrown spots of shrubbery and grass.
ASDA said 'Yesterday was a real success and it was great to see everyone really 'mucking in' and getting stuck into the jobs in hand.'
