Community Garden @ Holmewood Library

Today, a group of volunteers from Provident Financial took on a team challenge at Holmewood library. They worked as a team to clear an area of ground and weed and trim grassy areas. They planted lots of shrubbery around the perimeter of the grassy area and dug over untidy parts of the area too. The volunteers then painted the perimeter fence with a fresh coat of vibrant paint.

The volunteers enjoyed their team challenge and were amazed at what difference their work had made to the grounds of the library! They were happy that the work throughout the day had a positive effect on the library's grounds and hoped it would encourage more of the Holmewood community to use it.
