Employment Event @ Rockwell Community Centre, 27th May

The Rockwell Community Centre is hosting an employment event in May for the local community of Thorpe Edge and the surrounding areas. The Thorpe Edge estate is an area of deprivation and they want to do everything they can to provide employment opportunities for local people. The event aims to bring together local employers, training providers and local people in one room.

We are now looking for businesses to offer a few hours of their time to attend the event and speak to people about any of the following:

• Their current vacancies
• The typical vacancies available and the skills/experience needed to apply for these
• Advice on CV writing and interview techniques

Event date and time: 27th May from 10am-3pm
