Employ ability is a campaign aimed at managers who want to discover more of the talent their business can’t do without. The campaign will:

• emphasise the skills and talents disabled workers and those with long-term health conditions can bring to your workplace
• help you feel more confident about recruiting and retaining disabled people
  help you find the practical information you need.
• Our research tells us that some employers make negative assumptions about the capabilities of disabled people and what they can bring to the workplace. They may also think that employing them will be risky or will cost a lot of money. But these fears are often unfounded.

Employ ability encourages employers to widen their talent pool by focusing on individuals who have the right skills and abilities for the job, not whether they have a disability or a health condition.
